Since no one had left anything on Freida's message board I thought she deserved mention. My parents were very close to Gordon and Freida when we lived down around Bonds Chapel (between Orleans and Huron). They continued their association when our family moved to Mitchell. Gordon was killed in an industrial accident at Mitchell Crushed Stone, he was electrocuted. It's was so very sad, and I remember being at the auction at their property sale. Freida was never the same and never remarried. Gordon was her life! I would often see her in Mitchell as she was on my paper route, and she lived several years at Mitchell Manor. I can't imagine how it would be to lose a spouse, but I'm sure this week is the first true peace she had felt, being reunited with him in paradise. Im so happy that she is there with so many of our dear Bonds Chapel community. Enjoy your rest dear Freida!!!!!
