Green Funeral Service

A green (natural) funeral, or also known as a green burial, is a type of funeral service in which your loved one is returned to the earth as naturally as possible.

With the growing concern for our environment, green burials are becoming more accepted by society and are growing in popularity all around the world.

Green funerals use environmentally friendly caskets, and depending on cemetery regulations, an air dome vault or no vault at all.

Embalming may be done using a special type of formaldehyde free fluid.

Graves are usually marked naturally with things such as rocks, trees, and shrubs according to cemetery regulations.

There are natural burial preserves throughout the United States that are only for green burials, and cemeteries here in Indiana are also starting to allow green burial.
